1. What We Collect

We collect the information you provide when creating an account, including your name, email address, and training preferences. We also collect the health and training data you log within the platform, such as session records, measurements, and bloodwork entries. Usage data such as pages visited and features used is collected automatically to help us improve the service.

2. How We Use Data

Your data is used to provide and personalise the BudoBoard experience, including displaying your training history, calculating progress metrics, and sending product-related communications you have opted into. We analyse aggregated, anonymised usage data to improve features and identify technical issues. We do not use your personal or health data for advertising purposes.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely in the European Union using industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active, and for up to 90 days following account deletion, after which it is permanently removed from our systems. Backups may retain data for up to 30 additional days.

4. Third Parties

BudoBoard uses Supabase for database infrastructure and authentication, and Stripe for payment processing. These providers act as data processors under our instruction and are bound by their own privacy and security standards. We do not sell your personal data to any third party, and we only share data with processors necessary to deliver the service.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You can manage most of this directly from your account settings. To exercise any rights not available in-app, contact us at privacy@budoboard.com and we will respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies

BudoBoard uses strictly necessary cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We also use analytics cookies (via Google Analytics) to understand how the platform is used in aggregate. You can opt out of analytics cookies through your browser settings or a browser extension; this will not affect core platform functionality.

7. Contact

For any privacy-related questions or to exercise your data rights, contact us at privacy@budoboard.com. If you are located in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
